I know it sometimes gets annoying with a lot of trade offers you’re not interested in or with low-ball offers, but I think the phrase “No Trades” very close-minded. Because values all differ, and most of us are crazy, you never know the crazy deals you might get.
I had a home theater system left over from the sale of a house, and I almost didn’t go to pick it up. I posted it and ended up trading for a 1971 Plymouth Satellite (I still can’t decide if this car was cool or a total beater. You tell me). I was thinking I could sell it for about $600. I got several cool trade offers, but I ended up getting a $3K car. I’m so glad I didn’t put “No Trades”.
So if you use classifieds to trade, it may be worth the ridiculous offers to get that one stellar trade.
