Sometimes you’ll see people whose values are way out of whack from the market value. I remember seeing an iPad worth roughly $800, and the person wanted to trade for a newer Street Bike. Not even Chinese street bikes are that cheap. You never know, it could happen, right? There’s the story of a rich orphan businessman who later in life came across his long-lost teddy bear from childhood, and traded his Rolls Royce for it. Sure, it could happen. But for normality’s sake, I think this guy’s on crack to think his item is worth that much. You will see quite a bit of these, and you may get offers from crazy people.
The thing is, you can’t blame them for trying.
Maybe one day they will make that trade that seems ridiculous to everyone outside the transaction. But hey, that’s why trading is so cool. Try not to get too offended by these crazy deal seekers. All I do is laugh.
